The 8-Hour Diet
Simple and fruitful are the words that define better the 8-hour diet that has greatly surprised us because of its effectiveness. But, how does it work? This diet allows you to eat whatever you want without starving yourself.
The idea is eating within an 8-hour period only for 3 days. In this way, the body will be fasting during 16 hours. You can eat as much as you want, but we warn you against refined carbs such as sugar, breads or pastas. Yet, if you feel desperate to consume them, you can do it while mixing them with an energy boosting food, for example with a fat burning food (dairy, chicken, lentils), or healthy food (vegetables, whole grains or oats).

Montignac Diet
The French, Michel Montignac came up with this method in 1944, this diet is ideal for people who don’t know how to limit their food portions. It’s based on a facile concept which is, all you can eat as long as you combine them properly.
The key is to not mixed carbs and scratch (breads, potatoes, pastas, rice, corn, cereals, flour and vegetables) with proteins (meats, fish, seafood, egss, milk, yogurts and cheese) neither fats, in the same meal. Although there are certain forbidden foods, it’s more the variety you will be consuming. By following this diet, you will lose between 1 and 2 kilos per week and as we mentioned before you can eat all you want without a limit of food portion because of the feeling of satiety that it gives you. If you combine this method with exercise, results will be seen sooner.

The Zone Diet
It was invented by Barry Sears, it’s meant for people who need to control their glucose and insulin levels, this method prevents metabolic diseases such as diabetes and overweight. The diet consists in providing a 40% of carbs in each food, a 30% of fats and another 30% of proteins. The quantity of proteins to ingest have to fit in the palm of your hand. Fats such as olive oil have to be polyunsaturated. Carbs have to be represented by vegetables and fruits. It’s advisable to do 5 daily foods in no more than 4 hours intervals, to avoid increasing insulin in the blood.

Detox Diet
The Detox Diet is said to eliminate toxins from your body, improve health, and promote weight loss. It’s a depurative diet that only would take a week to make you feel totally renovated.
Day 1 and 2: This method begins with an entire cleaning in which you will only be ingesting liquids and juices: citrus fruits smoothies, infusions, homemade vegetable soups with carrots, pumpkin, leek, celery and zucchini. In the second day, you can add a spoon of oil.
Day 3: You must go on with the same diet you did the previous two days, alternating vegetables and adding some lean cheese and yogurt. Soups don’t need to be totally filter, you can include vegetable chunks.
Day 4 and 5: Gradually, it’s included dried fruit, and steamed chicken or fish. Some vegetables can also be incorporated, yet a low-calorie food should be maintained with soups, smoothies and infusions.
Day 6 and 7: Keeping up with detox diet, small potatoes can be added to the soups, cereals included in the breakfast or yogurt in the afternoon. Once the week is over, you will notice that beside of being detoxifying, surely you’ll lose more than three kilos.

Blood Type Diet
The American Peter D’Adamo, a prominent specialist in natural medicine, for more than thirty years had been studying about the impact food has in the organism depending on the type blood group each individual belongs to.
Type 0: Individuals from this group should consume lean meats, birds, fish, and seafood, do not forget to add vegetables. Avoid pork meat and sausages, try to limit how much diary, eggs and cereals you ingest. Type B: The most balanced diet for this group should include a variety of foods, such as lean meat, fish, dairy, fruit and green leafy vegetables. They have little tolerance for chicken, pork, sausages, seafood, seeds, nuts and cereals; physical activity must be moderate and balanced.
Type AB: Most foods indicated and contraindicated for groups A and B are applicable to group A and B. Olive oil and citrus fruits are beneficial to them. They should avoid crustaceans, red meat, maize, wheat, beans and seeds. They’ll get thinned with vegetables, fish, dairy and pineapple. A relaxing physical activity is suitable for this type of blood.
