The American Human Resources consultancy Mercer, recently launched a survey “Cost of living 2020” that lists the priciest cities in the world to live. A total of 209 cities have been globally classify in the list.
From the 5 cities chose, six of them are located in Asia, three comes from Europe and just one can be found in America. Although the study for this survey was done before the Covid-19 hit the global economy, the results shown that some of the factors such as currency fluctuation, inflation and costs of price, housing instability are prime to determine the package price for expatriate workers in international work.
